Kick-off meeting Erasmus+ Project VOICE

Kick-off meeting on Erasmus+ project VOICE (“Voices for truth and dignity – Combatting sexual violence in European sport through the voices of those affected”) was hold on the 5th and 6th of February 2016 in Köln, Germany. Partner of the project is also UL Faculty of sport and leader of research group prof. dr. Mojca Doupona Topič.  

Researchers from six countries outlined the structure of the project and agreed on individual work on the research project, which deals with victims of sexual violence in sport. The project will run from January 2016 to June 2018, under the leadership of the German Sport University Cologne, and will include a wide range of international partners:  

• Edge Hill University (GBR),

• University of Ljubljana (SLO),

• University of Southern Denmark (DEN),

• University of Debrecen (HUN),

• University of Vienna (AUT),

• University of Antwerp and Thomas More College (BEL),

• University of Vic (ESP),

• European University Sports Association (EUSA),

• Youth section of the European Non-Governmental Sports Organisation (ENGSO Youth),

• European Paralympic Committee (EPC) and

• European Gay & Lesbian Sport Federation (EGLSF).
